Okay, I freely admit that I enjoyed both the manga and the anime for Ouran High School Host Club. So of course, I wanted to watch the first episode of the live action drama. But fair warning: this is not a series suited to live action... Maybe, had they focused more on the characterizations and not so much on the utter goofiness of the series it would have worked a little better. Maybe if Tamaki didn't look 35 years old.
Still. I give it a C-.
Not bad for a J-Drama.
